About Me

I was born and raised in Matfors; a rural village near the coastal city of Sundsvall, Sweden. After studies at Kapellsberg’s School of Music, Linnéa completed a BMus(Hons) at Birmingham Conservatoire where she studied with Maureen Brathwaite. As a winner of the Joseph Weingarten scholarship, she also studied at the Franz Liszt Academy in Budapest, Hungary, with Boldizsár Keönch.

A founding member of the Linnaeus Baroque Ensemble, I take a special interest in Baroque repertoire but is also a keen performer of art songs and opera. I have toured both Sweden and England in various chamber music settings, given song recitals and appeared as a soloist both on stage and in church settings. In 2012 I also had my debut as producer and director staging Britten’s Noye’s Fludde for Operamus Community opera company, Birmingham.
